Marvin “Marv” Worst formed Audio-Visual Productions in September 2005. Worst began his career in the hospitality industry with Sound & Stagecraft in 1984 and throughout the next 22 years was the director of Event Technology at several stellar hotel properties throughout Chicagoland. Worst received numerous customer appreciation awards from the various properties that he proudly served. Worst maintains a commitment to meet the company’s purpose to connect and inspire people while delivering strong organic growth. He takes pride in the numerous relationships he has built over his years in the business. Audio Visual Productions has received the BBB AAA rating as well as the complaint free award for several years running. He is a proud member of Meetings Professional International, Choose Chicago, Magnificent Mile Association and the Illinois Hotel & Lodging Association. He also received a National Leadership Award from the NRCC. Worst was born and raised in Chicago Illinois. He attended Morton College and Coyne American Institute with his focus in electronics. He is involved in charitable activities for his church and neighborhood schools. He enjoys walking, yardwork, home remodeling and traveling with his family. He has coached all his children in baseball, soccer, basketball, softball and looks forward to coaching his grandchildren. He has been married to his wonderful wife, Donna, for 34 years, they have four children, Amy, Jonathan, Tracy and Nicholas as well as 4 grandchildren.
Vice President Hotel Division
Keith B. Levin Vice President Keith Levin joined Audio Visual Productions in January 2011. Levin is vice president of the hotel division. Levin is a direct report to CEO, Ownership of Audio-Visual Productions. He is enormously proud to be celebrating his 10th year anniversary with the Audio-Visual Productions family in January 2021. Levin is a member of the following: Choose Chicago * Magnificent Mile Association * Meeting Professional International * and the Illinois Hotel Lodging Association. Before joining Audio Visual Productions, Levin spent five years with Marriott International. Levin was the director and department head of Event Technology for the Chicago Marriott Magnificent Mile. Levin earned an important certification while with Marriott and proudly became a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) conferred by the Convention Industry Council (CIC). Prior to this Levin spent six years with Presentation Services as the Director in the following locations: Fairmont Chicago, Chicago, Illinois. Hyatt Regency O’Hare, Rosemont, Illinois and the Hilton Hawaiian Village, Honolulu, Hawaii. Levin also spent six years with Aramark at the Sears National Headquarters located in Hoffman Estates, Illinois and the Sears Tower in Chicago, Illinois. Levin served as the lead technician, promoted to executive technician for the entire board of directors, and promoted to conference food and beverage Manager. Levin earned his bachelor’s degree in Communications from Northern Illinois University. In his personal time, Levin enjoys and loves nothing more than his beautiful wife and kids. He also is fond of his two dogs and adventurous cat. Levin is a huge classic film buff. Blessed to be married to a classic film buff too.
Vice President Sales
Ryan joined the AVP team in March of 2019. As the leader of AVP’s Sales & Marketing Division, Ryan’s primary role focuses on fostering the growth of new business within the Chicago market, as well as driving new sales opportunities on a local and national level. Ryan takes great pride in maintaining high levels of service for existing and prospective AVP customers, from initial consultation, through full event execution.Ryan has over 16 years of industry experience, providing comprehensive event technology solutions, in numerous markets, and a variety of venues throughout the United States. He is a member of several local and national organizations, such as the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), The Association Forum of Chicagoland, Choose Chicago, and a several CVB’s across the country. He attributes his success to years of dedication and focus on the constant improvement of the quality, efficiency, and communication within the meetings, tradeshows, and live-events industries.Born in Fort Worth, Texas, Ryan is graduate of Texas Christian University where he completed his studies both domestically, and while living abroad in London, England, United Kingdom. Prior to joining AVP, Ryan held numerous leadership roles during his 3+ years with Production Resource Group (PRG), as well as his 11+ years with PSAV, managing live-events in large convention-hotel markets such as Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Chicago. As a seasoned leader, Ryan managed a variety of sales teams & marketing initiatives, where the focus on a consultative sales process, drove multi-million-dollar revenue growth for several nationally recognized hotel brands.
Vice President of Operations
Jon Worst Vice President, Operations Jon Worst joined Audio Visual Productions in January 2014. Worst is responsible for overseeing all of the company’s daily operations and logistics. Worst ensures the proper equipment and labor arrive on time at the designated show sites and in-house hotel properties on a daily basis. Worst is a direct report to CEO, Ownership of Audio-Visual Productions. Worst interned for Audio Visual Productions throughout his 4 years of college and later earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from Eastern Illinois University in December 2013. Following graduation, he immediately started working for Audio Visual Productions. With little experience in the audio-visual industry, he began working as a warehouse assistant and also assisted with delivering equipment to show sites and in-house properties. After 3 years of learning about the company, equipment, and the industry as a whole, Worst was promoted to VP of Operations and continues to take great pride in his role. Worst enjoys spending time with his family and friends, vacationing, and is a huge Chicago sports fan.
